The goal of the Bricklayer (Mason) Red Seal program is to have indentured apprentices work toward achieving the ITA Certificate of Qualification (Mason) and the Inter-Provincial Red Seal Endorsement (Bricklayer) in addition to a Certificate of Apprenticeship.
Level 1 Describes the Brick Laying Trade—5% Performs Trade Math Calculations—10% Reads Blueprints and Estimates Projects—10% Uses Occupational/Safety Skills—20% Uses Ladders, Work Platforms and Rigging Equipment—10% Builds Masonry Walls and Column Systems—45%
